Paradoxical movements of the lid, muscles, and pupil following paralysis of the oculomotor nerve occurs in some patients, and develops spontaneously In others who have never had an apparent third nerve palsy. The latter has been designated primary aberrant regeneration to differentiate tt from the former, "secondary" aberrant regeneration. |
