Description Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is a clinical syndrome characterized by elevated intracranial pressure in the absence of space occupying lesions or other brain disorders. The elevated pressure typically results in headaches, pulsatile tinnitus, and visual symptoms. Similarly minor head injury can lead to non specific headaches, tinnitus and visual blurriness. Intracranial hypertension (IH) is more commonly a sequel of moderate and severe head injury.
