Description Children with functional visual loss are less sophisticated and highly suggestible, so may be easily coaxed with the bottom up refraction. The bottom up refraction is a visual acuity testing start from the smallest line with suggestion. If this test is highly effective, it may reduce cost and confusion. But, its efficacy has not been studied. Visual prognosis of these patients has not been studied much also. We evaluated the efficacy of the bottom up refraction in children with functional visual loss and the visual prognosis of the patients.
