Description |
Myasthenia gravis is a disorder of neuromuscular transmission. Normally, acetylcholine is packaged into vesicles which are then released into the cleft at the neuromuscular junction. Receptors bind the acetylcholine to initiate depolarization of the muscle membrane. |
