Description Optic nerve blood flow is thought to be an important factor in the development of anterior ischemic optic neuropathy. We measured the widths of Doppier-broadened frequency spectra of laser light sacttered from selected sites on the optic nerve head in 22 normal subjects between the ages of 16 and 76 years.
