Title Objective Pupil Perimetry: Comparison of Pupil and Visual Responses Across the Field
Creator Kardon, Randy H; Denison, Chad; Thompson, Stacy; Thompson, H. Stanley
Subject Objective Pupil Perimetry; Glaucoma; Afferent Visual Pathway; Pupillary Visual Pathway; Humphrey Field Analyzer
Description In order to understand whether eye diseases such as glaucoma damage the afferent visual and pupillary pathways to the same extent, it is first necessary to compare the two systems across the normal visual field. We determined the threshold for both the visual and pupillary response across the horizontal meridian in each eye of 8 normal subjects using a Humphrey Field Analyzer. Comparisons were also made in patients with afferent pathway damage.
