Description There is no effective therapy for progressive nonarter'rtic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy {NAION), although recent studies have suggested optic nerve sheath decompression (ONSD) may be beneficial. To further assess the efficacy of this procedure, we retrospectively examined the visual outcome of ONSD in 10 eyes with NAION.
