Description Six patients (9 eyes) presented with narrow angle glaucoma and secondarily increased intra-ocular pressure and ischemic optic neuropathy were seen from 1985-1992. The age range was 38-59 years {mean 54 years). Two patients (2 eyes) had concomitant diabetes mellitus, and one patient also had systemic hypertension. Pretreatment, visual acuities were 20/40 {2 eyes), 20/70, 20/100, 20/400, CF4' (3 eyes) and hand movements temporally.
