Description Following ophthalmic aneurysm clipping it is possible to develop severe visual loss from thrombosis, embolism, or compression of the optic nerve. We describe a group of patients who had good vision preoperatively and initially postoperatively who over the course of three to five days postoperatively developed progressive visual loss. We report five patients who underwent ophthalmic artery aneurysm clipping.
