Description A retrospective review was carried out of all the conjunctival biopsies performed at the Mayo Clinic from 1982 through 1993. The number of biopsies performed was 248. Noncaseatmg granulomas, negative for acid fast organisms and fungi, were present in thirty seven patients by tissue biopsy.
