Description |
The triad of tonic pupil, hyporeflexia and segmental anhidrosis was first described by Ross in 1958. Since then, there have only been about 25 cases of Ross syndrome reported in the literature. As more cases are reported, however, the nosological distinction between the isolated tonic (Adie) pupil, Holmes-Adie syndrome (tonic pupil and areflexia), Ross syndrome and other dysautonomias has become less clear. |
