Subject |
Blindsight Motion Perception; Indirect Modulation; Striate Cortex |
Description |
Blindsight refers to retained visual ability without awareness, after cerebral lesions. Monkey data suggest that motion perception is particularly likely to survive loss of striate cortex, yet prior studies searching for remnant motion perception following human cortical lesions are few and have produced mixed results. We designed four tests which utilized a different strategy from traditional blindsight methods. |
