Title Isolated Nuclear Third Nerve Palsy: An Unusual Complication of Cerebral Angiography
Creator Matthew D. Kay
Description Neuro-ophthalmic complications of cerebral angiography are well documented. A review of the literature has revealed no previous reports of selective extra ocular muscle pareses in association with neuroangiography. We present a patient with an isolated pupil sparing nuclear cranial third nerve palsy, secondary to a midbrain infarction, which occurred during the course of angiography.
