At NANOS 2011, we presented data demonstrating a strong association between a strain of Burkholderia similar to B. pseudomallei and giant cell artieritis (GCA). Since then, we have isolated, cultured and characterized this strain. We found this strain to be sensitive to minocycline in vitro. |
