Description Selective saccadic palsy (SSP) and a "PSP-like phenotype" (PSP-l) have both been reported following cardiac and aortic procedures. Pathologic and MRI evidence has been reported demonstrating lesions in the dorso-medial pons in SSP and bilataral basal ganglia and pons in PSP-l.
