Description Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is a condition of raised intracranial pressure (ICP) in the absence of space occupying lesions. Headache is the most common symptom at presentation. ICP is usually measured by lumbar puncture and cerebrospinal fluid pressure (CSF) above 250 mmH2O is one of the diagnostic criteria in IIH.
