Description |
Bilateral hemioptic optic nerve hypoplasia has been associated with congenital hemiplegia, hemianopia and cortical atrophy. The presumptive cause of the hypoplasia in these cases is retrograde, trans-synaptic retinal ganglion axonal degeneration. |
