Description Breast cancer is the most frequent type of metastasis to the orbit, which although rare is a well recognized occurrence. Involvement of extraocular muscles is usually discrete and unilateral. Furthermore, other systemic metastases are usually encountered at the time of orbital compromise and occur after the original diagnosis of breast cancer is made.
