Description Visual function is one of the most common and disabling manifestations of MS. While other clinical dimensions of neurologic function, such as those in the MS Functional Composite (MSFC = Timed 25-Foot Walk, 9-Hole Peg Test, and Paced Auditory Serial Addition Test), have been demonstrated to be valid discriminators of MS phenotype (particularly relapsing-remitting [RRMS] vs. secondary-progressive [SPMS]), such relationships have not been investigated for visual function tests.
