Description Optic nerve hypoplasia (ONH) is a developmental disorder whose onset occurs prior to birth and is associated with varying degrees of vision loss. It is possible that ONH occurs more frequently in patients with neuronal migration disorders in the brain, but this association is unknown. We elected to determine the prevalence of epilepsy as a marker of neuronal migration disorders of the brain in a defined ONH population.
