Description Spasmus nutans is a disconjugate, small-amplitude, high-frequency acquired nystagmus which occurs in young children. Though classically described as benign, spasmus nutans has been associated with chiasmal and suprachiasmal tumors. This study was undertaken to determine the incidence of such tumors and to determine other associated findings in one clinical setting.
