Description |
Photophobia is an intolerance to ordinary light conditions (indoor and outdoor) such that visual discomfort and ocular pain may result. Photophobia in the presence of visual loss has typically been ascribed to uveitis or photoreceptor disease. It has occasionally been noted amongst patients with lesions of the optic nerve or chiasm. |
