History A 54-year old female with headache, blurred central vision OD, papilledema, macular hemorrhage and a 4-week history of panic attacks and seizures. Previous history significant for hypertension, smoking and a 20 pound weight loss.
Pathology Microvascular proliferation with focal necrosis and fibrillar astrocytes.
Disease/Diagnosis High grade glioma infiltrating the meninges with features suggestive of anaplastic ependymoma (WHO grade III) and glioblastoma multiforme
Clinical VA: 20/40 OD, 20/20 OS; Enlarged blind spot OS; Bilateral disc edema with sub-hyaloid blood over the right macula
Presenting Symptom Papilledema; Macular hemorrhage
Neuroimaging CT; PET
Treatment Surgery
