History Case 1 - An 8 year-old boy developed diplopia and lethargy after an URI. Case 2 - A 51 year-old man developed conjunctivitis and pharyngitis and noted diplopia and imbalance 3 days later. Case 3 - An 18 year-old man developed diplopia and imbalance following an URI.
Pathology Diplopia; Ptosis
Disease/Diagnosis Ophthalmoplegia
Clinical Ophthalmoplegia and other neurologic deficits spontaneously resolved Within 2 to 5 months in each patient.
