History A 20-year old male with a 6-year history of headache, sometimes accompanied by vomiting and syncope most ofter brought on by standing up or bending over. Followed by pediatric neurology for a previous diagnosis of migraine.
Clinical VA: 20/15 OU; Moderate papilledema OS>OD
Neuroimaging CT; MRI
Pathology Communicating lumbar arachnoid cyst
Disease/Diagnosis Recurrent papilledema and headache due to paroxysmal spikes in intracranial pressure from a communicating lumbar arachnoid cyst
Treatment Surgery
