| History |
An 80-year old male with left periorbital and temporal pain followed within one day by left ptosis and diplopia. Previous history significant for coronary artery disease, hypertension and abdominal aortic aneurysm. |
| Pathology |
Pleomorphic cells, Giant cells with foamy cytoplasm with areas of necrosis and neutrophils in the cavernous sinus consistent with histiocytoma. |

Primary interacranial malignant fibrous histiocytoma arising in the cavernous sinus |

VA: 20/20 OD, 20/40 OS; Color plates were bilaterally symmetrical |
