Description A case study demonstrating a patient who was afflicted with visual field defects as a result of compressive optic neuropathy from dolichoectasia of the internal carotid artery. It illustrates the continuity of care that was provided to this patient from the ophthalmology department to the radiology department. Ultimately, the study highlights the importance of an ophthalmic exam and the necessity of neuroimaging in order to successfully go about diagnosing optic neuropathy.
