View of Salt Lake 2002 Paralympics Billboard at Closing Ceremonies of the 2002 Salt Lake City Paralympics Games. The Salt Lake Olympic Committee (SLOC) donated tickets for educational purposes to schools through the area. SLOC wanted everyone to have the opportunity to attend Olympic/Paralympic events. Donating tickets to schools offered the opportunity to many children who otherwise would not have been able to attend Olympic events. Chris and Katie Mansfield attend Twin Peaks Elementary School were awarded tickets to some Olympic/Paralympic events. Katie attended the Paralympic Closing Ceremony, 15 March 2002. |
