Para Ice Hockey event at ECenter, Canada vs Sweden. View of ice rink and athletes competing on the ice with crowd in foreground and background. The game ended in a 1:1 tie. The Salt Lake Olympic Committee (SLOC) donated tickets for educational purposes to schools through the area. SLOC wanted everyone to have the opportunity to attend Olympic/Paralympic events. Donating tickets to schools offered the opportunity to many children who otherwise would not have been able to attend Olympic events. Chris Mansfield attend Twin Peaks Elementary School was awarded tickets to this Paralympic events. |
