UHS Who's Who in the Class of 1949

The photographs were taken for the 1948-1949 edition of the Uintah High School yearbook. They are on page 89. The photograph in the top half of the page is of the "representative students chosen because of outstanding accomplishment in scholarship and school activity." The students were: Nola Batty, Wayne Batty, Bryce Caldwell, Nancy Colton, Gayla Hacking, Barbara Preece, Lois Veile, and Melvin Weeks. The caption of the photo is: "Who's Who in the Class of 1949". The photograph in the bottom half of the page is of the students Nancy and Lois, who were given awards for "achievement and meritorious service while in school."
