UHS Girls' Sports

The photographs were taken for the 1993-1940 edition of the Uintah High School Yearbook. The top photograph is of the girls' volleyball team. The volleyball is just about to come down. The young women near the net are waiting for it. The six members of each team are all unidentified. The photo is captioned: "Return that one, will you?" The bottom photograph is of the girls' softball team. From left to right: unidentified young woman, unidentified young woman, unidentified young woman, unidentified young woman, and unidentified young woman. The photograph is captioned: "A foul ball for someone." The aforementioned photographs are located on page 31 of the Uintah High School 1939-1940 yearbook. NOTE: Wanda Andrus was the instructor.
