Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church [06]

Address: 1385 E. Spring Lane, Millcreek, UT. The St. Vincent de Paul Parish was established in Murray in 1925, and its first church building built in 1927-28, at 1893 Wasatch Avenue. That church was later the home of St. Jude's Maronite Church. The parish covered a large area, from which several parishes were carved off: St. Francis Xavier in 1956; Blessed Sacrament in 1972 (Sandy); St. Thomas More (Sandy) in 1981; and St. Martin de Porres (Taylorsville) in 1982. The new church was erected in 1975 on the grounds of the parish school.
