During the whole summer, from the beginning of May to the end of October, they attract a great number of Bulgarian and foreign tourists and holidaymakers. The resorts of Kavatsité, Alepou, Arkoutino, Primorsko, Kiten etc. are situated along a beautiful strip of the southern Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Though different in character, all these resorts have many common features. The southern coast of Bulgaria is distinguished for its warm southern sun, quiet and warm sea, wide and long sand beaches, dunes and picturesque bays. It represents a favourable combination of sea and mountain, the slopes of the Strandja Mountain, overgrown with lush vegetation reaching downto the very coastline and lending at someplacesa tropical character to the landscape. Here man’s hand has created all facilities for the tourists which in no way break the harmony created by nature.
