Description Papilledema, in the absence of a space occupying lesion, hydrocephalus or meningitis, is often due to idiopathic intracranial hypertension associated with obesity. However, this could also be due to unusual secondary causes. Our aim was to identify clinical characteristics and outcomes of such patients presenting to our unit.
