Description Normal tension glaucoma is a diagnosis of exclusion. Treating physicians must maintain a high degree of suspicion for mimickers of glaucoma. We present a case of a 53-year-old woman who was treated for several years for normal tension glaucoma, and later was found to have a tuberculum sellae meningioma causing compressive optic neuropathy. In this case presentation, we elaborate on concerning findings that pointed toward the true diagnosis and educate on clinical features suggestive of non-glaucomatous optic neuropathy.
