The hous~. at 4640 South 3600 West is a 20th Century Other vernacular style, of the eentral-blec-k-with0-;--: ",,-,'...( ~ type. It was constructed ca. 1928, but has been substantially altered and modified. The front projecting bay may be original, with multilight, fixed-sash windows and cornice returns. An additional projecting bay is on the south side of the house, which does not have cornice returns and has sliding windows. What may be the original south side of the house also has sliding windows and possibly new window openings. A small front porch and large window may also be later additions. One large, detached garage with vinyl siding and wooden gables, and one wooden shed appear to have been added later.
