Staufferville. Early pioneers, Christian and Anna Stauffer's home usedto stand on State Street where the car dealerships now operate. 4- Although the original owner is unknown, this home was occupied by Jorgine and Otto Johnson who came to Murray from Norway in 1907. The original home has changed with a sun porch on the east side built by Otto and a west side extension and large garage added later. The siding has recently been added. , _, . , Location: 5534 South 300 West Built: 1908 Herbert Erickson, brother to Henry lived in this home which originally was close to his parents and brother's home along Anderson Lane that has now been blocked by the track and other buildings. Later the Herbert family purchased the home which still looks much like it did 90 years ago and now belongs to Jerry Reed. ~~------~------------~ -L Location: 5996 South 300 West Built: 1901 Ephraim Smith Home was bought by Leo and Nola Bird and used as rental unit until sold to the Averetts who still own the home.
