The house at 6256 South is a clapboard-sided, cross-wing building of the 20 th Century Other style, constructed ca. 1928. It is difficult to see because of the heavy vegetation, but some of the front window openings appear to have been altered. The garage has been attached to the house by an addition that extends to the side of the house and that includes sliding patio doors and a covered porch. The addition is covered in vinyl siding. The property contains a row of large trees behind the sidewalk, and a large garden between the sidewalk and the house.
