Address: 9201 S. 1300 East, Sandy, UT. This Greek Orthodox congregation began as a mission parish in 2014. Their first venue was a reception center in Midvale called The Woods on Ninth, at: 6775 South 900 East, Midvale, Utah. For several years the Saint Thomas More Catholic Church in Cottonwood Heights provided them a home in unused space until they could obtain their own property. In October 2019, they purchased a former garden supply center, which had more recently been a wedding reception venue, and moved in in February 2020. Remodeling includes pews salvaged from the old Trappist monastery in Huntsville, Utah. |
