The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is evaluating the potential impacts ofa sidewalk improvement project along seven sections of Spring Lane in Holladay, Salt Lake County, Utah, between 1300 East and Highland Drive. The project is designed to improve safety, particularly for children walking to and from school, by adding to or improving the sidewalk along the south side ofthe road. The sidewalk right-of-way (ROW) is insufficient for multiple properties, and in some instances property boundaries extend beyond the sidewalk location and well into the ROW for Spring Lane. OOOT proposes to purchase the necessary ROW for sidewalk improvements. For the property at 1532 E. Spring Lane, an estimated 450 square feet of ROW along the north side of the property are required for the project.
