Subject Diagnostic Tests (ERG, VER, OCT, HRT, mfERG, etc) Eyelid & Adnexal Disease, Visual Fields
Description Neuro-ophthalmologists may discover homonymous thinning of the optical coherence tomography (OCT) macular-ganglion cell complex (GCC) without significant visual field defects in the workup of patients with suspected optic neuropathies or visual field defects. The differential diagnosis for this finding remains unknown. The goal of this study was to determine the causes of homonymous thinning of the OCT macular-GCC without significant visual field changes.
