| Description |
Robert Snyder was one of the first to arrive in the Ashley Valley. He build a home near the Post Office there. He was the first Mormon to settle in Ashley, bringing his cattle in the year of 1875 and moving his family here the next year. He was killed by lightning while standing in his yard in Ashley on June 16, 1879. |
