Every thrower and hurdler had their best performance ever including a new school record set by sophomore Audrey Kiser. Kiser won the shotput division with a throw of 46' 5.50", breaking the old school record which was 46' 2.50" set in 1991. Chantel Goldsberry was fourth (41'.8.00"). Elisha Kekacs was the top finisher in the 55 meter-hurdles with a time of 7.99 seconds. Kristy Slade (8.31) and Erianne Allen (8.52) placed sixth and eighth, respectively. Chris Merkley finished first in the mile run with a time of 4:13.30 and Teren Jameson won the 800 meters with a time of 1:53.97. Catherine Scalley placed second in the long jump (17' 11.00") and Johanna Nielsen placed second in the 3,000 meters (10:07.84) but was the first collegiate athlete to cross the finish line. |
