Description |
William "Shorty" Chambers came to the Blue Mountain area around 1914 from Colorado's Eastern Slope. He secured a job with the Sevens cattle outfit and later filed on a homestead on the east end of Blue Mountain. His son, Billy, said that Shorty died in a hospital in Denver, Colorado, and is buried at the end of Douglas Mountain in Brown's Park. |
