Description |
The Kabell (sometimes spelled Kabel) home was built by Lewis Kabell in 1895 in the Ashley area. The fifteen foot walls were made of hand molded clay bricks by the Swain brothers. The large nine room home was sold to Kabell's brother in 1917. At the time the old home was torn down it was owned by Edward Knutsen. They salvaged all usable material for a new office. |
