Description |
The Major Oil Company set up equipment with plans to produce oil by a special extraction method. The asphalt is lifted into the processor by the belt conveyor and then it goes through a storing operation coming out heated pipes to tank storage units. This equipment was placed at an abandoned extraction plant in the Horseshoe Bend area which was an early asphalt plant that was used for local roads prior to the Asphalt Ridge Plant. |
