The original structure is present on the 1898 Sanborn map and the addition is depicted on the 1907 Sanborn map. Both structures have a single story resting on an unknown foundation. The roof of the original structure is covered with corrugated tin and is moderately pitched with gabled ends while the roof of the vault style addition is flat. Entry to the structure is from the south side 1907 addition, which is covered by a narrow overhang. The walls of the original granary are wet masonry constructed of stone with concrete mortar and appear to be in good condition. The north side of the structure has a large window near the northeast comer. The attached vault style addition on the north side of the structure is constructed of cinder block and has two small windows on its west side, as well as a side entry door. It is in good condition. The structure is eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. 5. mSTORY Architect/Builder: Unknown Date of Construction: Unknown Historic Themes: Mark themes related to this property with "S" or (see instructions for details) ~Agriculture ~ Architecture _ Archeology Art ~Commerce Communications _ Community Planning & Development Conservation Economics Education _ Engineering Entertainment/ Recreation _ Ethnic Heritage _ Exploration!
