Bradshaw, was born in Lehi in 1869. A prominent local cattle broker, Bradshaw later struck it rich as a large-scale farmer and rancher in Alberta.. Canada. After he returned to Lehi in 1914 he founded numerous businesses ,including Wasatch Chemical, Lehi Drug Company, Charm Products, Lehi Cereal Mill, and American Savings and Loan. The interior waIls and ceiling of his 1914-built Lehi home (his fourth in town), were hand-painted by a live-in artist. Murals depicting important events in the Bradshaw family were rendered by the Frenchman. Bradshaw's son, Franklin, founder of Bradshaw Auto Parts, achieved an unwelcome notoriety when murdered by his grandson in 1978. Current owners are Dee Ray and JeLaine Russon. 118 |
