Show CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION This IFRF Project Status Report is mainly intended to De for tne information of IFRF Members. It may however be used to inform non-members upon the research activities of the IFRF and therefore it contains no information which is confidential to the IFRF. HOWEVER NON-MEMBERS SHOULD PLEASE NOTE THAT STUDY OR RESEARCH REPORTS INDICATED IN THIS DOCUMENT ARE AVAILABLE ONLY TO IFRF MEMBERS"EXCEPT WHERE THE CONTRACTOR HAS SPECIFIED OTHERWISE. AVAILABILITY OF REPORTS TO IFRF MEMBERS Traditionally, the IFRF Members have the right to all research information generated at Umuiden. Accordingly, when projects are funded directly by the IFRF, the individual member has the right of representation on the associated working groups and to the Research Reports. Copies of each IFRF funded Research Report is distributed automatically to all Members at no cost. If an extra copy is requested, a fee of Dfl. 200 may be charged. Where projects are funded by individual IFRF Members or by Government Agencies, initially, the rights to information apply only to the funding Member or Agency except for the information contained in the following project status sheets. This confidentiality can apply, if the contractor desires, for an agreed period of up to one year after the acceptance of the Research Report by the contractor. After that period, the research information generated may be made available to all IFRF Members in the form of the Research Report. In this IFRF version of the Research Report, research information which was the property of the contractor prior to the start of the project, may have been deleted. Where externally funded projects meet well with the IFRF technical objectives, the Research Reports may be distributed to IFRF Members at no cost. Alternatively, where the project may be somewhat oriented to meet the specific applicational objectives of the contractor, the Research Report is not automatically distributed to IFRF Members. However, the Member has still the right of information. Accordingly the existance and summary details of the Research Report are advertised in the periodically issued "Umuiden Newsletter". Members may then obtain copies on application to the Research Station at a cost varying between Dfl. 100 and Dfl. 250 depending upon the scope of the project. In the following project status sheets, the project status is not described as "* PROJECT COMPLETED *" until the Research Report has been distributed or made available to IFRF Members. |
