Description Severe, permanent vision loss is a feared sequela of untreated or refractory idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH). For patients with progressive vision loss despite maximally tolerated medical treatment, optic nerve sheath decompression remains a viable option to protect vision. In this study, we introduce a modified transconjunctival technique and report on our outcome data, representing one of the largest case series for ONSF of any approach.
